Biomaterials and Implants

Our main activities in this sector are:

–    Investigating the degradation of  relevant implant materials (titanium, cobalt-chromium, stainless steels… )

–    Developing  methodologies addressing the synergistic effect of electrochemistry, fatigue and fretting on implant degradation.

–    Building R&D projects with partners from academia, industry and the medical community.
