Our mission
Understanding, preventing and mastering corrosion
Our mission is to understand, prevent and control corrosion for industry by providing end-to-end support, from diagnosis to solutions. As a European leader in this field, the French Corrosion Institute draws on a team of specialised engineers and technicians and on three sites in France — Brest, Saint-Étienne and Lyon-Solaize — to guarantee the recognised responsiveness and quality of service.
We work with all types of materials, whether metals (steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, titanium), paints, plastics or composites, and leverage the unique ARCOR industrial network, which brings together hundreds of projects and expertise every year. Depending on requirements, we carry out direct consultancy, run collaborative research (JIPs) and design bespoke training programmes to transfer our knowledge efficiently and strengthen our clients’ mastery of corrosion protection.
